Trent

SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION
08/25/18

The Club at Flying Horse | Colorado Springs

Trent. He is such a wonderful guy. I was definitely excited when his mom reached out to set up his senior portrait session. Trent is one of my sister’s close friends, and he even brought me some cotton candy ice cream one time. He is a super nice guy and always makes everyone laugh.

His family has a membership at the Club at Flying Horse, so that’s where  we went for his senior session. It was definitely a perfect place for photos. I went to scout out the location about an hour before we started shooting, and I found a bunch of fun spots. They had an abundance of lights, staircases, fountains, and greenery, which made for a fun but professional look for the photos.

For his first outfit, he kept it pretty casual with jeans and a grey button down. I absolutely love grey shirts for senior portraits; they’re perfectly neutral, but still classic. The weather was also amazing. We had been getting a ton of rain that week, and the clouds were rolling in before the shoot, so I was a little worried. Then, right when Trent showed up, the clouds broke, and the sun started to shine.

For his second outfit, Trent was definitely rocking a light lavender button down. He was so natural in front of the camera, and he followed direction for posing very easily. One of my favorite photos of Trent was the one of him in front of the building where the clouds were reflecting off the windows. The light from the sun was just glowing, and I love the golden look! Flying Horse was also a perfect location, because there were barely any people around, except on the patio. We never really had to worry about people getting in the way of any angles, and it was awesome!

“BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS. DO NOT BE AFRAID OR TERRIFIED BECAUSE OF THEM, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD GOES WITH YOU; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.”

Deuteronomy 31:6

Trent’s last outfit was probably my favorite. He was totally rocking his suit, even though he didn’t have a tie or dress shoes. His mom was talking to me about this super fancy tie she bought for him, but they couldn’t find it! He brought his suit anyways and asked if he should still wear it, and I said of course! The suit went too well with the decor to pass up. I loved all the brick/stone pillars and fireplaces they had around Flying Horse, and he looked so professional. His mom also wanted to get a picture of him laughing, so she started dancing behind me. It was too funny! His mom also wanted to get a picture of him laughing, so she started dancing behind me. It was too funny!

Both of his parents actually came to the photoshoot. His mom came along for all the photos, but his dad stayed in the locker room to watch a baseball game. Those locker rooms at Flying Horse were so fancy! While Trent was changing, I went with his mom to check out the woman’s locker room, and it was so crazy! There was a little conference room, and the bathrooms provided perfume, hairspray, and everything.

CONGRATULATIONS TRENT! YOU’RE A SENIOR!
